AI4MEDSTUDENTS

Artificial intelligence is increasingly being used in medical research and clinical practice, yet current medical training affords few opportunities for medical students to gain the knowledge to understand and use AI critically. Some medical students are or will become AI developers, but it is not realistic nor expected that the majority of medical students will do so. Instead, we aim to enable all medical students to become responsible users of AI in their future clinical practice through AI literacy initiatives, which will in turn accelerate the development of mature, trustworthy medical AI research and products.
