ALISON CHOI

Alison Choi is a photographer based in Los Angeles. She graduated cum laude from Pomona College in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Her thesis project, which explored the history of Korean-owned wig and beauty shops in African American communities, won the Merle Woo Senior Thesis Prize in Asian American Studies and the Toni Clark Prize in Gender and Women's Studies... In addition to her photography projects, Alison works as an analyst at the media agency Hearts & Science, a subsidiary of Omnicom Media Group. She works on the M&E Marketing Science team for AT&T.
