Amadudu is a registered Charity. We are commissioned by the Liverpool City Council to deliver the core services for women and children survivors of Domestic Abuse. We have a number of funding streams that support various aspects of service, resources and activities for the women and children, Examples of funders supporting the organisation include: MHCLG, Police Crime Commission, Imkaan VAWG fund, PH Holt, Women's Aid Federation England, Comic Relief, MPAC, LCVS Community Fund, Austin Smith Fund, Merseyside Playing fields to name a few, including many donations from other local. charity/community groups including food, toys, clothes, hygiene packs. Amadudu plan and review our fundraising strategy regularly to ensure funding is fit for purpose for the needs of the services users and to enable sustainability for the specialist service for the future... Where did our name come from? Amadudu is a Nigerian word meaning 'of colour'. The name our name reflects the communities of Black women..
