A.P.C was founded by Sonia J. Clarke, who was inspired by her loving grandmother Ivy Morris. In 1992 Ivy was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Sonia was instrumental in her care and witnessed dignified care provided by nursing staff. This service, especially during her grandmother's last days, inspired her to open this homemaker companion care agency.
