BDG was created to challenge inequities and vulnerabilities of women, youth and children that prevent the full realization of their fundamental human rights and equal participation in and enjoyment of sustainable development. BDG's founders were social scientists who were passionate about advocating for those who were left behind on political agendas and by society... BDG is an international grassroots initiative and is governed as an association in Geneva. We seek to bridge development gaps across the globe by meaningful inclusion of those who are left behind. Our goal is to connect local leaders with international collaborations and support them to be change-makers towards inclusive and community-relevant development.
