Israel Reyes

Israel Reyes is a self-taught artist. His interest for editing grew when he discovered his power to manipulate raw footage and meticulously develop it into his director's vision. Israel stepped towards the art of digital media commencing as a sound check assistant for a variety of television shows for KRCA, a Hispanic oriented broadcasting station based in Los Angeles. Israel became an established video editor in 2004 when he was given the opportunity to work on Secretos, a reality based T.V. show where he was able to introduce his unique style of video editing. His one of a kind style allowed him to continue to grow as a professional as the opportunities to work on various projects emerged. Over the years Israel has been able to express his capability expanding from reality based projects and music videos for such clients as Oryon Media Artist to his most recent contribution on Buscando Fantasmas for Telemundo. For the first time, through LOVE Israel is contributing to a project as associate producer, exploring and offering his outlook in a different part of production using his visual expertise. Israel can only hope to continue his growth of knowledge through the projects to which he contributes. As he expressed "I am testing the fields, and I'm not afraid to jump in.". Lori Sater

Lori Sater, is a talented multi-media artist and humanitarian. She has spent the last 10 years photographing Art Nouveau buildings throughout Europe Her travels have taken her as far as Japan and Australia. She has dedicated 26 years of her life supporting the SGI- USA a world peace organization. Lori was compelled to collaborate in the making of the feature documentary ‘LOVE" because of her passion for justice and equality. Her quick and highly detailed eyed brought a series of powerful journalistic photographs to ‘'LOVE" earning her the position of principal Photographer. Now, she is working on her second feature film documentary "For The Love of My Country" .She is a mother of two children. She understands the importance about creating entertainment which has a positive impact. Amongst some of Lori interests are Renaissance art, enamel objects, and flowers. Lori says "I live in a world of color and pattern. She is currently working on a painting series entitled "The Feminine In Nature". She attended Ithaca College and received a BA in Art History and Literature.

Maria E. Hall

MARIA E. HALL, is a civil rights lawyer and activist who is dedicated to fighting for the fair and just treatment of all people, regardless of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, disability, or sexual orientation. Ms. Hall currently represents clients experiencing discrimination in the contexts of housing and employment. Her pro bono work has included the representation of a Marine Corps reservist throughout the "conscientious objector" process, including attending his hearing at the Marine Corps Reserves headquarters in New Orleans, as well as assisting a young woman to separate from the Marine Corps because she found it profoundly painful to keep her sexual identity secret. Ms. Hall received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2003 from the University of Southern California Law School. She has been recognized with numerous awards for her civil rights advocacy including the USC Miller-Johnson Equal Justice Prize; scholarships from the Foundation of the State Bar of California, the State Bar Environmental Law Section, the Mexican-American Bar Foundation, the USC Mexican American Alumni Association, and the USC Public Interest Law Foundation; and post-graduate fellowships including the USC/Irmas Fellowship and the Earthjustice Sutherland Fellowship. Ms. Hall is employed by the Beverly Hills law firm, Sherman & Nathanson, and serves on the executive board of the Mexican American Bar Foundation, a nonprofit foundation that awards scholarships to law students.

Tom Carpenter

Upon graduation as a distinguished military graduate of the class of 1970 of the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland, Tom Carpenter received a regular commission in the United States Marine Corps. After completing infantry training at The Basic School in at Quantico Virginia, 1971, he was assigned to the Naval Aviation Training Command at Pensacola, Florida. In 1972, after completion of Naval flight training, including carrier qualifications, he was designated a Naval Aviator. Tom received advanced combat training with Marine Attack Training Squadron 201 at Marine Corps Air Station (‘MCAS") Cherry Point, NC and was initially assigned as n A-4 Skyhawk attack pilot with Marine Attack Squadrons (VMA) 331, Beaufort, S.C. He was transferred to MCAS Iwakuni, Japan where he was a member of the famous Wake Island Avengers, VMA- 211. While in Japan, he was transferred to the Headquarters of the 1st Marine Division at Camp Courtney, Okinawa where he served as an Air Liaison Officer and commanded an Air Liaison Platoon. His final assignment on active duty was VMA 214 at MCAS El Toro, California. He was designated one of three Nuclear Delivery Pilots in his squadron and in his last assignment with the famous "Black Sheep" squadron was the youngest Operations Officer in Marine Corps Aviation. As a result of the then-existing regulation and exclusion of gays in the military, Carpenter resigned his commission in 1976, at the rank of Captain. While on active duty he accumulated more than 2500 hours in the A-4 Skyhawk. He later joined the Marine Reserves and continued his service until 1980. Both while on active duty and in the Reserves Tom was consistently deep selected for promotion. From 1978 through 1983, Tom was a pilot for Continental Airlines, flying the Boeing 727. While flying for Continental, Tom attended Golden State University School of Law in San Francisco. Graduating in 1980, he moved to Los Angeles where he joined the firm of Kern and Wooley. In 1986, he made a lateral move and became a member of Bronson, Bronson and McKinnon, LLP. At Bronson he was a member of the Los Angeles office management committee and headed the Products Liability Group. He has been lead counsel on numerous civil jury trials representing both defendants and plaintiffs. In 2005, after 25 years of practice, Carpenter retired as partner from the law firm of Shaw, Terhar and La Montagne, LLP where he was a trial lawyer specializing in Aviation litigation, products liability, entertainment and commercial litigation. He is a member of the Bars of California and Colorado, and a Judge Pro Tem of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Tom became a principal in the strategic consulting firm of Conegy Advisors in 2008. Tom served on the Board of Directors for Servicemembers Legal Defense Network from 1995-2008. He was co-chair of the Board from 1998-2005. He lives in Los Angeles with his spouse of 17 years, Art Andrade.
