The Foundation "BULGARIAN ASSOCIATION OF NARCOLEPSY PATIENTS" (BANP for short) is an inclusive resource for people with narcolepsy and their carers. BANP was founded in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2021 by Adriana Andreeva Dimitrova and Kaloyan Georgiev Dimitrov, parents of Boryana Dimitrova, diagnosed with Narcolepsy type 1 in 2020 at the age of 10. The aim of the association is to transform the way narcolepsy patients have access to diagnosis and medical treatment, and be accepted with dignity and care in society... The main mission of BANP is to help people with narcolepsy and their carers to have a full life, and to receive support and adequate understanding by the society... BAPN is an independent organization that operates in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.
