CLOSE REACH ACADEMY - Key Persons
Early childhood education offers an opportunity to instill a love for learning, and create the foundation for a child's educational perspective. Having the privilege to be a part of that process fills me with joy on a daily basis. When I am not at the Close Reach Academy campus, you will find me spending time with my four daughters. We love exploring on the weekends, gardening, trying out new recipes, or working together on our next Lego creation!
As the Director of Operations, I am able to pursue my passions to nurture and support children and families while promoting the best educational and care experience for students, educators, and families.
Working with children for over 13 years has inspired me in countless ways. I love teaching them, while also being taught by them. One of the best lessons I've learned from my students is to laugh and smile often. This is a lesson I get to take home to my husband and four children, as we have fun exploring the great outdoors, sailing, and playing sports together.

Working with students at this age level has brought me joy for many years now, and I love bringing my passions for music and world cultures to the classroom. When I'm not at school, you will find me playing violin, cooking something new and interesting, rescuing house plants, and spending time with my husband, daughter, and son!
My love for educating began almost nine years ago with my passion being an early childhood educator. Early childhood educators play an essential role in their students' lives, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Outside of work, I am a mom of three boys. We love staying busy doing family adventures and enjoying a calm movie night at home.
