Now that I have been doing mediation for a while I have decided to limit my mediation practice to high end complex cases. I am also limiting the number of cases that I accept in order to devote the time and attention that these complex higher end cases require. I expect all participants to engage early and work extremely hard to resolve the case... Mediation Services (Alternative Dispute Resolution) have been used for decades to settle cases... Unlike in the civil arena mediation is not part of the culture in workers' compensation.
