Charlotte Leroux is an experienced Naval Architect driven by her innate curiosity and passion for complex problems and continuous learning. During her years at Principle Power she has performed various engineering studies, she analyzed data and carried out a structural analysis of the WindFloat 1 prototype platform and has been leading several R&D projects. As the nascent floating wind sector is evolving at a daunting pace Charlotte finds that there are endless opportunities to learn more about the physics of complex systems, explore the market environment and to further advance the floating wind technologies on their route to a sustainable market. She thrives in a multi-cultural environment and is strong advocate of team work. She had the opportunities to work in various industries, from offshore renewable energy (floating wind, wave energy converter, OTEC) to naval industry. Charlotte graduated in mechanical engineering with a focus on naval architecture from Ecole Centrale de Nantes.
