CEDAR SERENITY - Key Persons
Roy has therapy and counseling experience with a wide range of clients in a variety of treatment settings. He strives to bring an effective blend of experience, expertise, clarity, concern, and action to the counseling process to maximize outcomes and provide genuine healing and wholeness to individuals and their families.
In his practice working with clients, Roy has been using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Psycho-education, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). He is intimately familiar with the 12-Step work, as well as other support structures in treating addiction. He has assisted hundreds of clients in achieving abstinence from mood alterning substances, reuniting families, and recovering from the impact of substance use disorders and self-destructive behaviors.
His approach is warm, accepting, empathetic, and client-centered. Roy speaks Arabic and French fluently.
