The Cleveland Architecture Foundation was created out of a love for architecture to promote cultural awareness of architecture and design and to preserve the architectural legacy of Northeast Ohio. It was organized in 2018 as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation... The Cleveland Architecture foundation is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to elevating the design culture of our region by enhancing the awareness and appreciation of architecture and design and the work of architects and designers in the community... The built environment informs us about a given location, its people, their values, aspirations and culture - what they value that makes them feel alive. Architecture is what tells us about who we are, who we were and where we have been and where we are going. What we build is our legacy in what is left behind, informing by offering insights into the socio-political, economic and cultural reality of the time.
