CORE is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit community based organization serving the residents of eastern Orangeburg County, South Carolina, and surrounding areas. In keeping with community improvement, we advocate for children, families, and community minded people... The Community Organization for Rights and Empowerment was formed in Holly Hill in September 1999 to focus on local environmental health issues. In the following years, CORE has served and advocated for improvement in Education, Health, Technology, Housing, Social Development, and Community and Economic Development... A nonprofit, CORE has met needs of eastern Orangeburg County residents for 2 decades. Our current priorities are a community garden and a children's summer meals program. We are the Community Organization for Rights and Empowerment.
