Christopher Michael Starling MBE is a core strategic decision maker with an impressive leadership and management pedigree having served for nearly three decades with the British Royal Marine Commandos. He is the Operations Manager at Crewshield, responsible for managing production and ensuring projects are maintained to the highest level of productivity of resources and quality of product to our customers. Having been nationally recognised and appointed as a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for his work within the human resources realm, Christopher has a proven ability to lead, manage and prioritise across a breadth of streams including logistics, human resources, training and military operations. Christopher's professional career began in 1989 and spanned 16 years in the Royal Marine within the 3 Commando Brigade units and other formations. During his position in the Royal Marine, Christopher served globally on operations and exercises, which included operational tours of Northern Ireland, Kuwait, and Iraq during the 2003 invasion as well as amphibious exercises to the Mediterranean, USA, and to the Far East as part of the deployed forces supporting the handover of Hong Kong. At the age of 32 he was promoted ahead of peers through to the rank of Colour Sergeant. In 2005 Christopher side-stepped to the Royal Marines Officer Training as a Staff Officer for the Late Entry Course at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines in Exmouth, England. He was selected for commissioning from a Corps of approximately 6000. Concurrently between 2005 and 2006, Christopher scaled further in the human resources sphere as a Specialist Human Resources Manger at 42 Commando Royal Marines in Plymouth. It was in this position which saw him lead the unit HR department, with the additional responsibility as the unit Bereavement and Visiting Officer. As part of his responsibility for the delivery of leadership training to all new entry Royal Naval Officers, International Officers and Royal Naval professional Officers, Christopher was made Leadership, Training and Program Delivery Manager at Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth in 2008. He trained over a third of all current Royal Naval Officers - which included teaching the Law of Armed Conflict and the Realities of War to all new officers. Moving onto 2009, Christopher held the position of Specialist Human Resources Manager at the Naval Command HQ in Portsmouth for two years. He oversaw the ‘recovery pathway' of all Royal Marines from point of wounding to discharge from hospital or when they were laid to rest. His tenure covered a period of significant fighting in Afghanistan which led to many deaths and complex double and triple amputees. From 2011 and 2013, Christopher ascended to Director of Logistics, Human Resources and Fleet Management at the 30 Commando Information Exploitation Group Royal Marines in Plymouth. He was responsible for the management, maintenance, provision, and accountability of all unit equipment and material to a value in excess of £250 million, including the control of all ammunitions and explosives. Between 2013 and 2015, he held the position of Director of Human Resources and Talent Management at the Naval Command Headquarters and then became a Military Scholar at The Defence Academy in Shrivenham. It was in 2015 till his present position at Crewshield, where Christopher headed operations and logistics in full force. As the Operators and Planning Manager with the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission (MONUSCO) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, he was deployed as the Senior Military Liaison Officer between the 3* Force HQ and the Disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration (DDR) section of MONUSCO. He instigated, developed, and led the DDR weapons destruction programs, which concluded with financial and material returns for the affected Congolese communities. From 2016 till 2017 Christopher became the Director of Logistics at the Commander United Kingdom Amphibious Force where he provided advice and liaised with all Ministry of Defence, NATO, EU, UN and Foreign Military authorities with regard to theatre early entry requirements, including Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR). Since 2017 Christopher has been a pillar to Crewshield's operations by leading the production team in line with industry best practices, yielding growth and development for the company worldwide. Christopher's formal educational qualifications include obtaining Masters Degrees in Leadership and Management as well as Human Resources Management in 2013, both from City and Guilds Institute. Christopher also honed his specialism in human dynamics with a Prevention of Harassment and Sexual Harassment and Abuse in the Workplace accreditation recognised by the United Nations. He is also a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and a Certified Coach and Mentor. Cindy brings over a decade of administrative excellence to Crewshield having worked across a wealth of project management companies in executive support roles. With a career bolstered in Management Accounting from the University of San Carlos, Philippines, Cindy's trajectory has seen her excel from a Business Consultant position at Megatrend Consultancy in Cebu City in 2004 where she managed extensive research and data to working for Wilbur Smith Associates in Dubai from 2007-2008 as Project Secretary reporting to the Construction Managers for infrastructure, landscaping and expansion works for Jumeirah Lake Towers. In 2009 Cindy became the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Precipio Project Consultancy where she was responsible for internal and external client management and markets as well as streamlining internal processes. Cindy's astute organizational skills saw her develop business management system policies and procedures including the creation of forms and templates used across the organisation. In the eight years prior to her move to Crewshield, Cindy was the Executive Assistant and Business Support Assistant for Specialist Services, Dubai where she reported to the Chief Executive Officer and the Group Sales and Marketing Director. It was in this capacity where her amassed skillset in administration came into fine fruition where she assisted the Contracts Manager in the preparation and review of contracts, non-disclosure agreements, power of attorney, agency agreements, and a litany of legal documents. Katherine Wilson has over a decade of experience in specialist areas including: project/operations management, team management, training and development, client relations, implementation of new business processes, logistics, procurement and business development. She is the Process and Logistics Manager at Crewshield where she manages the projects' logistics and deployment and planning of both product and team. Katherine has driven significant growth plans for the company thus far. Katherine has held a diverse range of roles within a number of industries throughout her career. Before landing her position as Project Manager at Balfour Beatty UK in 2008, she amassed formative experience as a Mortgage Administration Manager at Mortage Advise Bureau as well as the Office Admin for Richard C Hartley Ltd. For five years at Balfour Beatty she planned and delivered projects alongside supervisors and local authorities while providing solutions and guaranteeing resolution. Her key achievements at Balfour Beatty saw the implementation of new project management processes at various street lighting PFI contracts including: Derby - £231m, Coventry - £250m and Cambridge - £203m. As Property Manager for Bullock Construction, Katherine spent the following year at the helm of major refurbishment works, making daily visits to tenants' homes before, during and after works were completed. She ensured health and safety regulations were met while maintaining communication literature and offering support where necessary. From 2015 till 2016, Katherine was the Office Manager for McCone Properties in Dubai, the UAE, where she successfully and astutely devised and implemented new administrative support systems for clients and team members. In this role she proved her ability to effortlessly liaise with key regulatory bodies in the UAE including: DEWA, Ejari and Dubai Land Department. At LITASCO Middle East DMCC Katherine was the Office Manager from 2016 till 2017 where she maintained office systems and produced briefing documents, reports and presentations. Beyond her in-house duties, Katherine explored outside her remit by managing project elements of regional expansion. It was this eye for going above and beyond her role that saw Katherine step up to Corporate Operations Manager for Naseba Communications DMCC for the next two years. She had the hefty responsibility of running a series of technology, hospitality, financial and leadership events in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. She had the unprecedented and rewarding opportunity to mentor various employees in the first ever Women in Leadership Forum in Saudi Arabia. NICK CUPCOTT

Nick Copcutt joined Crewshield as a Board Member in 2019, adding over 25 years of experience of managing businesses in complex and hostile environments to the organisation. His experience has included several senior corporate security positions, prior to his move into the commercial Oil and Gas sector. Nick's experience ranges from being Group Director of Security for BG Group to Commercial and Country Management for several Oil and Gas organisations, operating in areas including Somaliland, Kenya, Uganda and Equatorial Guinea. Prior to working in the security and oil and gas sectors, Nick served in the British Army, being Commissioned into the Parachute Regiment and serving with specialist units.

Sydney Pereira

Sydney Pereira has over 16 years of concept, design and drafting of process equipments in addition to well intervention and testing equipments. Sydney's position as Draughstman at Crewshield entails the development of concepts and ideas created by Project Engineers and Discipline Engineers and evolving them into detailed CAD drawings to meet the requirements of Crewshield's projects. Sydney is instrumental to the technical specificities and detailing for each and every company product. Sydney's career has focused on design in the main. The first three years at the beginning of his design journey saw him move up in the industry in Mangalore, India as a Steel and Structural Draugtsman as well as a CAD Engineer for Vivek Engineering Corporation, Access Systems International Inc and Standard Engineering Solutions between 2004 and 2007. From 2007 and 2010, Sydney was the Structural Draughtsman at Roshan Construction LLC in Dubai, the UAE. His key outputs were in designing and detailing RCC and steel structures such as factories, warehouses, residential buildings and labor accommodations in accordance to residential city regulations. From there Sydney took on the position of Senior Draughstman and Project Coordinator at Zasco Contracting LCC in Dubai. With the Ministry of Transport and Communication Sultanate of Oman as the core client, Sydney's remit involved the design, manufacturing, installation and commission of sludge and slop facilities. It was in this role that Sydney's prowess for drawing was developed when he was required to detail sketches for API 650 tanks (500m3, 200m3, 50m3) among a wide breadth of other projects. This also lead to developing detailed shop drawings for steel Pontoons. Between 2011 and 2015, Sydney transferred his unique knowledge to Indata Oilfield Equipment Manufacturing LCC in Dubai where he was the Senior Design Draughtsman (Mechanical/Process). Key areas included: drilling, testing and production equipments, trailer mounter packages and modular buildings. Sydney's most recent role before joining Crewshield was held at Canadian Energy Equipment Manufacturing in Ras Al Khaimah where he was the Lead Draughtsman (Mechanical/Structural). During his tenure Sydney was involved in the up-gradation of CEEM advanced hydraulic work over unit as per customer requirements, as well as concept, designing and detailing of surface equipments like power pack, tool houses, generator packages and sound attenuator enclosures. Having worked closely with major clients including ADMA OPCO, Halliburton, Schlumberger, M-I Swaco, Sydney has bolstered his aptitude for design considerations across onshore and offshore structures. Sydney's Mechanical Draughtsman/Allied Trade training was undertaken at the HEBICH Technical Training Institute in Mangalore. William John Hanson has over two decades of extensive experience in the petrochemical, food and structural engineering fields with a strong understanding of the Middle East and international specifications including relevant import and export regulations. William is an Engineering Manager at Crewshield wherein his proactive costumer-orientated background has lent to ensuring all projects of Crewshield business units are planned, executed and delivered within company procedures and guidelines meeting customer satisfaction. William's career took flight in the UK as a Projects Engineer for KGD Industrial Services which he held from 2000 to 2007. During his seven year tenure, William produced and managed project specific documentation and procedures as per stringent client requirements. He was also part of the team that worked with special metals to carry out automated weld overlay on Inconel Billets for specialist tube extrusions where internal material composition differed to the outer on only a 2mm wall. Other key projects delivered included: Quintuple Diesel Centrifuge System for the AKPO FPSO, (HHI / Total) and 5 off Lube Oil Systems for the EPC2B Nigeria East Area Platforms, (Siemens PG / ExxonMobil). From 2007, William spent the next three years at Siemens Water Technologies - Electrocatalytic Products (Now Evoqua Water Technologies) where he was Project Engineer. He was responsible for mechanical engineering of high value capital equipment ranging in value from £100k to over £1M. His career highlights in this role included: 6 off CTE Systems for Qurayyah IPP, Damam Saudi Arabia - (Saipem / Saudi Aramco) and 2 off CTE Systems for the Soussa & Derna Desalination Plants, Tunisia, (ENKA). Up until William joined Crewshield he was the Project Manager for Process Group International Ltd - currently trading as Suez Oil and Gas Systems. It was in this role where he gained momentous experience in the supply of Produced Water Systems, Early Production Facilities, Wellhead Desanders, Deoilers, Gas Dehydration Units for EPCs and major companies within the Oil and Gas Industry including Samsung Engineering Co Ltd, DNO ASA, ONGC, Dragon Oil, Cairn India, Hal Offshore and Storengy UK Ltd. William is equally adept at managing and fine-tuning logistics. He led the review of client specifications and internal work scopes produced for the purpose of purchasing and manufacturing equipment to the end users requirements whilst ensuring the specified equipment will be purchased within budget and delivered within the project timescales. William's astute action and decision making skills has brought many Crewshield projections into fruition with aplomb. He has a natural aptitude for building and maintaining excellent rapport with internal and external clients, which has unanimously led to successful project delivery. William has a wide breadth of educational accreditation including an an EMTA NVQ Level 3 Technical Services from the Herefordshire Group Training Association, and a qualification in ASME PD764 Introduction to Hydraulics for Industry Professionals from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. William is also a certified Internal Auditor for QMS-EMS-OSHA (TUV Accredited).
