Brett E. Suchy is Chief Operating Officer of Cornerstone Asset Management Group, LLC. With 11 years of wealth management experience, Brett has developed a unique approach to portfolio management, operational structure, and wealth management technology. He has a history of bringing inventive solutions to and expanding business capabilities for a multitude of advisors. Brett has a deep understanding of the financial markets and is a scholar of thematic and innovative investments. Brett holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification, administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with The Yale School of Management. Brett has spent his career working with prestigious wealth management and investment advisory firms. He was a Registered Financial Associate and Operations Specialist with Wintrust Wealth Management in Chicago, IL and Lake Forest, IL and assisted in the implementation of proprietary dividend growth and ETF strategies. Brett was a Client Service Associate for the Private Client Group at Stifel, Nicolaus & Company where he facilitated the transition of business operations between Barclays Wealth & Investment Management to Stifel Financial due to its acquisition in December 2015. Brett was a Wealth Management Associate at Clune & Associates in Chicago, IL where he assisted in executing investment policies using broad global diversification and asset allocation. After this, Brett served as a Registered Client Service Associate for Wells Fargo Advisors in Chicago, IL and most recently at T 2 Global Advisors, LLC as Relationship Manager and Analyst, where he sat on the Investment Committee for dividend growth, ETF and opportunistic investment strategies. Mr. Suchy received his BA in Economics from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN, with a minor in Psychology. Brett lives in Western Springs with his two dogs, Fleetwood and Skylar He is an avid golfer and plays in several sports leagues including softball, paddle tennis and bowling. Brett played on the DePauw baseball team and enjoys watching the Chicago White Sox.

Kim W. Suchy - CEO

Kim W. Suchy is CEO of Cornerstone Asset Management Group, LLC. Kim focuses on a comprehensive financial management process to build upon the accumulated wealth of clients while considering the need for capital preservation and family values. With 28 years of wealth management experience, Kim has developed an approach to investing that embraces a macro view of the global markets in conjunction with asset class and security valuations. These factors facilitate the design and implementation of portfolios which satisfy each client's return and risk requirements. Kim has held senior level positions in the financial services industry throughout his career. He was an Economist with Argonne National Laboratory/University of Chicago where he was responsible for economic and financial feasibility programs. Kim worked for Central Maine Power Company in Augusta, Maine managing the firm's financial planning & analysis, investor relations, shareholder services and pension groups. After this, Kim worked as Investment Manager for the Blue Cross & Blue Shield Pension Fund in Chicago where he managed a $1.5B global balanced portfolio for 33,000 employees. Kim served as Sr. Vice President for LaSalle Bank/ABN AMRO Wealth Management Group designing and implementing investment strategies for foundations, endowments and high net worth families. He also served as a Sr. Client Service Manager for William Blair & Co. managing foundation, endowment and family relationships and most recently at Optimum Investment Advisors as Managing Director of Wealth Management. Mr. Suchy received his BA in Economics from DePauw University, his MA in Economics from DePaul University and his MBA from Benedictine University. Kim lives in Western Springs. He has two children, Brett and Laura. He also has two grandchildren, Alexandra and Connor. Kim is a lifelong Chicago Blackhawks fan and enjoys competitive and recreational golf as well as reading. Kim was a college football player at DePauw University and still enjoys watching his alma mater on Saturday afternoons.
