DENVER CAT HOSPITAL - Key Persons
Dr. Danielle Maybank grew up in the Catskills in upstate New York. She received her Bachelors degree in communications from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. It was after graduation that she discovered a newfound passion for veterinary medicine. She later went on to complete her degree in veterinary medicine from Western University in Pomona, California. After graduation, Dr. Maybank relocated to Colorado after being offered a position at a feline specialty hospital. Since graduation, she has dedicated her time to feline exclusive hospitals. She has a special interest in working with senior cats and helping to manage their special needs. She understands how stressful vet visits can be on cats and their owners. Her goal is to make that experience as stress-free as possible. Dr. Maybank shares her home with two sassy calico sisters, Lexie and Anna. Dr. Maybank is excited to be joining the Denver Cat Hospital team.
Dr. Erin Stensland was born and raised right here in Denver, Colorado. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George's University in the Caribbean country of Grenada. Before veterinary school, Dr. Stensland completed training at the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology to become a certified veterinary technician, closely followed by completing her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Dr. Stensland is very passionate about feline medicine and has a special interest in dentistry and surgery. She shares her home with her cat Delilah, and three spunky rats (Homer, Lenny & Carl). In her free time, she enjoys traveling, snowboarding, hiking, sewing, and crafting.
Dr. Nicole Schreivogel Trainor grew up in La Junta, Colorado. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Colorado State University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. After working in Rochester, Minnesota for several years, she and her family moved to Denver in 2016. She and her husband have two children, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Winnie and a Portugese Water Dog named Porter. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, skiing, and classic cars. Her professional interests include nutrition, dentistry, and ophthalmology.
