DFIR, LLC was founded by Danny Garcia, who honorably served on the Miami-Dade Police Department for nearly 20 years as a full-time law enforcement officer. From 2004 through 2012, Danny was a Police Officer (Computer and Cell Phone Forensic Examiner), then he was promoted to Sergeant and assumed command of the unit. He conducted digital forensic examinations, obtained his CFCE certification, and supervised hundreds of criminal cases during his tenure within the Computer Forensic Laboratory. One of the most notable cases he supervised was the review of the laptop computer evidence in the Anna Nicole Smith death investigation. He was a member of the United States Secret Service's Miami Electronic Crimes Task Force since 2004 and held an active security clearance until leaving the police department...
