Mental health and psychosocial problems are serious problems in our country, but there is no formal data in any document indicating its real magnitude and there is only one residential facility in the country for chronically mentally ill people, so our center is very important to the population. Our center was established in Somali Regional state, Ethiopia as local NGOs named Dhimir Mental Health and Psychosocial Development Organization... We are the first mental health organisation based in Ethiopia that delivers life-saving aid to millions of people living on the edge of survival, free of charge... Through rescue, rehabilitation, and nurture, persons going through mental illnesses are integrated back into society as healthy individuals that can stand stable on their own. We believe proper mental health is not only a necessity but also a right for every individual.
