Alicia Rockmore - President

Alicia is the President of Zinc Collective. Prior to Zinc Collective, Alicia founded Spark Actions, a progressive millennial engagement platform. Alicia is both a seasoned entrepreneur including co-founding Buttoned Up, a company dedicated to helping busy women get sanely organized and a senior CPG marketer working for Unilever and General Mills. Alicia holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA from Claremont McKenna College. Alicia got involved in politics because she promised her teenage daughter, Lucy, that she would find a way to make a difference after the 2016 elections.

Annie Bourke

Job Titles:
  • Security Project Manager
Annie first joined Zinc Collective in 2020 as a Campaign DigiDem focusing on cybersecurity. Since then, she's worked with the DSCC to help secure Senate campaigns during the 2022 cycle. In her current role as DigiDem's Security Project Manager, she provides security support to campaigns and aligned organizations across the country. Born and raised in the Aloha State, Annie enjoys surfing and paddling in her free time.

Augie McGinnity-Wake

Augie is a born and raised Wisconsinite and proud UW-Madison alum. Augie has six years of experience working in digital communications programs; he got his start on Jacky Rosen's 2018 Senate campaign and then spent four years in DC on Senator Rosen's official-side team and at the DSCC before moving back to Wisconsin in 2023. In his free time, you'll find him caring for his 17-year-old cat Charlie, scouring used bookstores, growing his record collection, jogging along Madison's Starkweather Creek, and searching for a great cortado.

Josue Flores

Hailing from the Bay Area, CA (and currently the only team member located there), Josue is a high-energy, mission-driven collaborator who loves to focus on connecting with new & familiar faces, community building, and understanding the intersection between politics & emerging technologies. After looking for an entry into the Political space, he first arrived at Zinc Collective in January 2020 after being an Administrative Assistant for an HR organization and currently serves as the Program Manager for DigiDems, where he focuses on shaping alumni strategy and engagement, social media brand building, and program-building efforts. Josue has worn several hats since he started working with Zinc Collective in January 2020 and is one of the longest-standing members of the organization. Josue received a B.A. in Latin American Studies from UCLA.

Julia Fegan

Since her first job at her university's IT helpdesk, Julia has been passionate about helping people get the most out of their experience using technology. In her current role at DigiDems, she is focused on cybersecurity implementation for campaigns and political groups. Julia previously worked with DigiDems in their inaugural 2018 political cycle, working with the MI-11 Haley Stevens campaign, and then continued to work in Rep. Haley Stevens' official congressional office as a technology specialist. When not meditating on the superiority of Detroit pizza over that of Chicago and New York, Julia enjoys drawing, playing DnD, and hanging out with her cat, dog, and husband.

Kane Miller

Kane Miller joined DigiDems after more than ten years in Democratic organizing. A veteran of both Obama campaigns and Hillary Clinton's 2016 race, he most recently served as Early States Director for Elizabeth Warren's presidential primary bid. He's also managed successful legislative and congressional campaigns around the country, often alongside his rescue dog John Marshall.

Keith Hayes

Job Titles:

  • IT Manager for Zinc Collective and Has Been
Keith is the IT Manager for Zinc Collective and has been with the organization since 2019. He started as a Digidem in Virginia Beach, Va in 2019 and was part of the VA State Coordinated Campaigns, where he provided supported to SD-8, HD-84, HD-21, & HD-76 state candidates. He also served as a Senior Associate for the Harris-Biden Transition Team, helping with onboarding and help desk support. Prior to becoming a Digidem, Keith worked as an IT Administrator, End-User Support Specialist, & Manager at various nonprofits and businesses and as an IT Security Team Leader at the Social Security Administration.

Mackenzie Lucas

Mackenzie is a 2018 Digidem Alumni and digital professional with 12 years of website design experience. Since her time at Digidems, she has worked at the U.S. House of Representatives and various agencies honing her skills with Digital Communications in the progressive political sphere.

Matt Hodges

Matt Hodges joined Zinc Collective as the Head of Technology after more than ten years blending Technology and Democratic politics. Matt was the Engineering Director for Joe Biden's 2020 campaign and built software for Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign. Prior to Democratic politics, Matt worked in the tech industry as a software engineer. Matt holds a BS in Computer Science from Miami University. Matt considers himself to be extremely on Twitter and occasionally on Peloton.

Maya Benson

Maya is an organizer at heart who started her career working for both Elizabeth Warren's Senate reelection campaign in Massachusetts and her Presidential campaign in Iowa. She continued her work in field and mobilization in Arizona during the 2020 election, and most recently has been helping state and local campaigns get set up with organizing, fundraising, and digital tools at NGP VAN. Maya is excited by the ways tech tools can make campaign staff's lives easier and fill in gaps where more support is needed. She spends time outside of work cooking new recipes and spending time with her dog, Maggie.

Michelle Kleppe-Wellde

Natalie Scavuzzo

Natalie is a digital strategist with over six years of experience building digital communications programs for advocacy organizations and political campaigns. She began her political career supporting the Pennsylvania Coordinated Campaign during the 2020 presidential election and most recently worked as a Digital Consultant, fundraising for a portfolio of Democratic clients. She is a committed progressive and passionate about fighting for an inclusive political system that cares for our country's most vulnerable people. Outside of work, Natalie enjoys baking, trying new restaurants, weightlifting, and spending time with her dog, Dolly.

Patty Matos

Patty Matos (she/they) is a progressive organizer, digital storyteller, and creative designer with over a decade of experience activating and mobilizing supporter communities, developing cross-platform digital strategy, telling compelling multimedia stories, and empowering grassroots volunteer leadership. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Patty now lives in Philadelphia with her girlfriend and their cat, Squeaky.

Shahin Motia

Shahin comes to DigiDems after 10 years in IT network administration and security for many prestigious art dealers, galleries, and artist foundations in New York City. During DigiDems' 2018 electoral program, he worked as a campaign technology specialist for Congressman Mike Levin's historic victory in California's 49th congressional district. A friend of the dachshund, he enjoys domestic pizza strictly within an 86-mile radius of Lombardi's, and considers grueling slates of nightly European musical performances "vacation."
