RHEUMATOLOGY CENTER - Key Persons

Rheumatology Center Inc. was founded by Dr. Jose G. Garcia, a Board Certified Rheumatologist who graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine in 1988, and did his residency training in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, FL (1991-1994) and a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial, Hospital in Miami, FL (1994-1996).

A Board Certified Rheumatologist. Dr. Miranda also cares for our patients at Rheumatology Center, Inc. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine in 1999 and served as Chief Medical Resident during her last year of residency training in Internal Medicine at Cabrini Medical Center of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York (1999-2002), where she also completed her Fellowship in Rheumatology (2002-2004).

Ms. Luz A. Ruiz is a National Board certified Physician Assistant expertly providing care for our patients at Rheumatology Center, Inc. Luz Adriana Ruiz has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Bogota, along with advanced degrees from Miami Dade College, and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University. Ms. Ruiz has over 25 years of experience in the Health field and is dedicated to providing quality care for our patients along with lending her time and talents to several volunteer organizations. She is a member of FAPA (Florida Academy of Physician Assistants).
