Dr. Waheed was formerly heading Central Research Institute of Unani Medicine Hyderabad under the aegis of CCRUM, Ministry of AYUSH Govt. of India, Member B.O.G. CCIM. Has expertise in Phase-II and Phase-III clinical trials as per WHO/USFDA GCP guidelines. coordinated multi-centric clinical trials of Unani medicines on Vitiligo.,Diabetes, Hypertension and Hepatitis with seven Institutions under CCRUM located across India viz. CRI-Hyderabad, RRI-Chennai, RRI-Mumbai, RRI-Aligarh, RRI-New Delhi, CRI-Lucknow and RRI-Srinagar.
