  • Our Founder
Sean Duffy knew from an early age that his basic purpose was to help, and with an aptitude for math, accounting seemed like the perfect fit. Sean attended Fairfield University earning his B.S. in Accounting in 1984. Sean earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1989 and established his practice in the same year, at just 27 years of age. Not only is Sean a CPA, he is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a series 7 registered representative (stockbroker), and has his life insurance license. In the 30+ years since opening, Sean has followed the needs of clients, presenting them with viable solutions to their financial problems, thus reducing their stress in those areas. Sean is dedicated to community service and active involvement. He as served as President and Treasurer of the Scotch Plains Rotary Club, and serves in an executive position at his church. In high school and college he was an avid rugby player and was elected to be a Scrum Captain at Fairfield University Rugby Football Club; he continued after college, playing with the Union County Rugby Football Club.
