EdTech Foundation is committed to eliminating the inequities around access to early stage capital by addressing the problem of the missing "pre-seed" round of "Friends & Family" financing for Founders of Color... Access to "Friends & Family" capital isn't the same for everyone. And data shows that the average Black household has a fraction of the available capital as compared to the average (approximately 10%). For some Black entrepreneurs, the challenge to raise the first $50,000 might as well be $5 million. EdTech Foundation was created to address this need and attempt to level the playing field... We provide to our Founders more than just capital…we bring experience, mentorship, contacts and potential accretive business combinations.
