EFFECTIVE TREATMENT OF EATING DISORDERS FOUNDATION

The Foundation and its supporters are largely from professional backgrounds in Australia and New Zealand whose family members or friends were failed by the conventional eating disorders treatments. They comprise educated, professional people from a wide range of occupations - law, medicine, dentistry, public service, psychology, health administration, business, management consulting and banking. They have researched a wide range of treatment alternatives; and they are all well-equipped to think independently about them, to assess them critically, to address complexity and to identify whether a treatment option makes rational sense. They place a high premium on integrity... None of them have had a vested professional or commercial interest in any treatment. They all just wanted their daughters to get better permanently.
