Alex previously led Product Management for Data Science at Oracle Utilities focused on customer outreach products. Prior, he led the engineering and analytics teams at Tesla Energy, where he was responsible for multiple product lines like the Powerwall, and at First Solar, where he was responsible for developing performance models to predict production of PV power plants. He started his career in semiconductors and magnetic nanostructures industries for Lam Research and Grandis (now Samsung). Alex received his B.S. in physics and mathematics and a B.A. in English from Iowa State University and PhD in applied physics from Stanford University.
Beth Deane - Chief Legal Officer
Beth has more than 25 years of legal experience across project development, M&A, financing, litigation, cybersecurity and corporate governance, with a specialization in renewable energy. She was previously Chief Counsel at First Solar for over 10 years, working side-by-side with other EH2 founders, and later deputy General Counsel at Leeward Renewable Energy, a developer & IPP with assets across the US.

Electric Hydrogen CTO and Founder, David Eaglesham, started Electric Hydrogen after working with Breakthrough Energy Ventures. Realizing no incumbent electrolyzer manufacturer could meet the cost and scale requirements to address industrial decarbonization with fossil-parity green hydrogen, David teamed up with Raffi Garabedian, Former CTO of First Solar,
With extensive experience bringing technologies from lab to market, Dave was the initial CTO at First Solar and was the CEO of Pellion Technologies. He is a former Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Breakthrough Energy Ventures.
Since leaving the World Bank, Derek has spent the last 15 years focused exclusively on the intersection of clean energy and finance, including most recently at Breakthrough Energy Ventures.
Prior, Jason led the sales, inside-sales and customer success teams at LevelTen Energy, a marketplace focusing on corporate renewable energy procurement including 24/7 renewables. Jason spent nearly a decade at SunPower working on the creation of the residential lease program ($3Bn deployed), leading global strategy and business development for the distributed generation business, and leading Enterprise sales of commercial solution to customers including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Apple and others. Jason holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a B.A. from Duke University.
Jigish was most recently leading First Solar's engineering, product development and previously, supply chain teams. Under his leadership, First Solar revamped the product line from series 4 to industry-leading Series 6 modules with best-in-class cost and performance. Prior to First Solar, he spent 15 years in semiconductors in product and process development for with Micron Technology. Over his career, he has been awarded more than 140+ U.S. and international patents in areas of renewable energy, semiconductor physics, material science, product development, and process technology.
Dedicated to shepherding in the Net-Zero energy transition, Mujinga has over 20 years of project development experience around the globe in the energy space (oil & gas, power, biofuels, & renewables). Mujinga previously worked with AES, Fulcrum BioEnergy, Smartwires, GE and Sunoco. Mujinga grew up in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, earned a high school degree in France, a chemical engineering degree from Princeton University, and an MBA from Georgetown University.
Raffi was most recently with First Solar, the pioneering thin-film solar company, where he served as CTO from 2012-2020. Before joining First Solar in 2008, he was founder and CEO of Touchdown Technologies. He has a long history of innovation and entrepreneurship in "hard-tech" ranging from automotive components to telecommunications subsystems. He holds over 20 issued patents and has learned a lot over the years about strategy, business development, product, manufacturing operations, leadership, and most importantly building great teams.
Bringing the best of people practices from Fortune 50 companies and start-ups, Renata has led people organizations in medtech, chemicals and advanced industries. She was most recently at HeartFlow, a medical technology start-up, growing it from 100 to 500 strong in employees over her 6 years there. She believes people are EH2's greatest asset and is passionate about driving sustainable growth practices to fast-growing companies.
