ERIE RESIDENTIAL LIVING

Erie Residential Living is a not-for-profit corporation located in Sandusky, Ohio. ERLI has two licensed homes, one for men and one home for women. The first licensed home, the women's home, was opened in February 1977. The second home, the men's home, opened in May of 1979. Each of the two licensed homes were originally established to help 8 residents each. However, legislation has changed throughout the years and each home now provides exceptional services to 5 individuals each (10 total). This housing option allows for ERLI staff to work on increasing the residents' independent living skills. Additionally, having multiple residents in one home allows for each person to increase their social skills. It is also Erie Residential Living's goal to have the residents become active participants in their communities. ERLI staff have open conversations with the residents to find out how they would like to become more active members of their communities... Our goal at Erie Residential..
