The poultry sub-sector in Ethiopia is still at infant stage and dominated by indigenous breeds with traditional husbandry and poor management practices, most of agricultural households are engaged in small scale poultry production where the survival of baby chicks is quite low due to high risk of predators and infectious disease... Vision: Our vision is to see a developed Ethiopian poultry sub sector where our members are prosper and empowered economically and become competitive internationally. Mission: To promote Ethiopian poultry sub sector through advocating for favorable business environments, better technology introduction to its members, creating access to training and other capacity building activities to its members
