FARM FAMILY PROJECT

We have been gainfully employed on our family farm since we were small children and have grown into management positions for our family's burgeoning flocks of sheep, geese, chickens, and quail. We practice what is called intensive rotational grazing on our farm. We manage all aspects of assessing forage availability, rotations of the livestock, their daily care, and all minor vet care. We do this during our summer break and on most weekends. We tend to over 700 animals at the peak of the growing season. Approximately 20% of these animals go directly to beneficiaries of The Farm Family Project... Immigration is the foundation of our great American experiment. The Farm Family Project supports immigrant farmworkers in our community by doing what we know best- growing food & feeding people.
