Allen Thayer is the Professional Development Specialist on the Career Management Team within Graduate Business Programs where he supports candidates in career exploration and preparation. Previously, Allen served as an independent social impact consultant working with Social Venture Partners and Northwest Social Venture Fund. Prior to that, Allen spent five years working with Stanford's Graduate School of Business Center for Social Innovation as their Associate Director and lead on career services. Allen has experience in public, private and hybrid sectors and earned his Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University.

Angela is the Associate Director of Employer Engagement in the School of Business Career Center. She works closely with employers who are interested in engaging with students and alumni at the School of Business. Prior to arriving at PSU, Angela worked with the many U.S. institutions' international admission offices as a client manager at IDP Connect. During her time at IES Abroad, she helped college students improve their career growth by completing international internships. She has also been an international student and scholar advisor at Kent State University where she advised international students on immigration regulations and created an impactful mentorship program to increase internationalization on-campus. Her passion for helping students has led her to the School of Business at PSU.
Angela was born and raised in Dalian, China. She currently lives in Chicago, IL with her family.

Dr. Bauer conducts research about relationships at work. More specifically, she works in the areas of leadership, selection, and new employee socialization which have resulted in dozens of journal publications. She has acted as a consultant for government, Fortune 1000, and start-up organizations. She has been a visiting professor in France and Spain and at Google, Inc. Dr. Bauer is involved in professional organizations and conferences at the national level such as serving on the Human Resource Management Executive Committee of the Academy of Management and SIOP Program Chair, member-at-large, and President. She is an Associate Editor of Journal of Applied Psychology and is on the editorial boards for the Journal of Management, Personnel Psychology and Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practices. She is a Fellow of SIOP, APA, IAAP, and APS.
