GINZA IWAKIYA

Since its establishment in 1897, Iwakiya has been providing life-enriching kimonos for numerous people. The founder, Kano Wagatsuma, was born in Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture. The city is known for Somanomaoi, an event in which more than 500 armour-clad warriors on horseback gallop through a field. Her strong love and passion for horses led her to open Ginza Iwakiya within Horse Club Ginza.
