GREEN POWER

Green Power is a Hong Kong-based non-governmental organisation (NGO) concerned with the city's environmental issues. The NGO was founded in 1988 by a group of volunteers who made environmental education the foremost priority of the organisation... Green energy includes natural energetic processes that can be harnessed with little pollution. Green power is electricity generated from renewable energy sources... Green Power established the first Green Schools Network in Hong Kong to encourage environmental education in cooperation with schools. It works closely with teachers to promote and foster green awareness in young children. Three Environmental Resource Centres have been established in secondary and primary schools.
