Bartholomew Boniface Ochonye (MHM), Country Director/Chief Executive Officer: A highly experienced program manager with over 20 years' experience in public health and human rights. Bartholomew leads one of the largest HIV and AIDS prevention, care and treatment (PCT) program for the Key Populations in Sub-Saharan Africa. Bartholomew has worked with CEDPA, Winrock International, FHI360, and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Nigeria. He was a speaker at the UNGASS HLM in June 2016 in New York on the topic "Leaving No One Behind". He has focused on practical solutions to gender disparities, health, social and economic injustice. Ochonye holds a Master's degree in Health Management and is currently studying for his PhD in Public Health.

Jake Effoduh is a Partner at Praxis & Gnosis Law, Nigeria. He is an international human rights lawyer with programmatic experience from working across 28 African countries. He has gained ample experience in human rights advocacy at four ranks of human rights systems: at the domestic level (in Nigeria and partly in Canada); sub-regional West African human right system (ECOWAS court); regional African human rights system (African Commission); and mostly at the international level (especially the United Nations Human Rights Council). He is an alumnus of the University of Abuja and holds two master's degrees in International Law from the University of Oxford in the UK, and York University in Canada. For 12 years, he anchored 2 of Nigeria's most popular radio programmes on health and human rights which aired on over 150 stations with more than 35 million Nigerians tuning-in weekly. In 2016, he was listed as a World Economic Forum Global Expert on Human Rights. He has published widely on various human rights issues and has won several awards for his work on human rights.

Major General Ogbonnaya Njoku

Dr Njoku has for many years been deeply involved in the National Response to HIV/AIDS epidemic. He was a pioneer member of the National Action Committee of AIDS and Team Leader to the South West Zone in the 2001 National HIV Sentinel Surveillance Survey. He served as, Chairman, HIV/AIDS Committee of the Nigerian Medical Association (Lagos State Branch) from November 2000 to February 2004, and Project Manager, Lagos State NMA/FHI project on Capacity Building for Physicians on management of HIVAIDS and STIs from May 2003 to July 2004. Following the Federal Government intervention in provision antiretroviral drugs in 2001, he was head of FMOH ARV Treatment facility at Military Hospital Lagos. Between Sep 2012 and Dec 2014, he was Director of Science, US DOD Walter Reed Program Nigeria in which in charge of all research activities. Though retired he is still active in the HIV prevention research particularly in the aspect of blood safety.

Prof. Morenike Ukpong-Folayan: The board chair for Heartland Alliance International Nigeria, Morenike is an academic at the renowned Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria. This great woman who serves as Deputy Director of the College of Health Sciences' Partnership and Research Advancement Unit also Coordinates the Research and Innovation Support Unit of OAU. She is the coordinator of the New HIV Vaccine and Microbicide Advocacy Society (NHVMAS). Morenike has extensive experience designing, implementing and reporting both qualitative and quantitative studies for research; conducting monitoring and evaluation exercises for both general and key populations programs; and advocating for use of research outcomes for policy formulation and programming in the field of HIV, bioethics and adolescents health in Nigeria. She has also invested in building community capacity to interpret research findings and use for decision making at micro level.
