Bartholomew Boniface Ochonye (MHM), Country Director/Chief Executive Officer: A highly experienced program manager with over 20 years' experience in public health and human rights. Bartholomew leads one of the largest HIV and AIDS prevention, care and treatment (PCT) program for the Key Populations in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Bartholomew has worked with CEDPA, Winrock International, FHI360, and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Nigeria. He was a speaker at the UNGASS HLM in June 2016 in New York on the topic "Leaving No One Behind". He has focused on practical solutions to gender disparities, health, social and economic injustice. Ochonye holds a Master's degree in Health Management and is currently studying for his PhD in Public Health.
Mr. Donglong is a graduate of University of Jos in 1997 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1998, with a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the same University.
He specializes in litigation and corporate consultancy which includes, but is not limited to registration of Companies, Charges, filing of annual returns and other sundry affairs at the Corporate Affairs Commission, registration of trademarks, patent rights and Industrial designs, etc, acquired over the years gained through employment in some notable corporate institutions such as Albert & Company, Trobell International Nigeria Limited, Charlotte Smart Clean Limited, Serene Greenfield Limited, Heartland Alliance Nigeria Ltd/Gte and Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State (Assistant Registrar Legal).
He is a member of several professional bodies, amongst which are; Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) and Nigerian Association of Notaries Public (NANP). Mr. Donglong is the Managing partner of the firm of Albert and company; a Legal Firm situate at N0. 28, 3 rd Avenue, Gwarinpa Estate, Abuja FCT, Nigeria.

Dr. Obembe is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police.
She also served as the National Coordinator of Police Action Committee on AIDS (PACA) 2016 - 2019 and was the head of Nigeria Police Medical Services in 2019 until her retirement.

Emmanuel N. Onwubiko: Emmanuel is a journalist of over 22 years standing. He worked for seven years as a sole Senior Court/Judicial reporter in the nation's capital for The Guardian and has maintained consistent weekly column "Rights watch" in the Leadership Newspaper. A former Federal Commissioner of Nigeria's National Human Rights Commission, Emmanuel heads Human Rights Writers' Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) and is the publisher, Editor in Chief of Icons of Human Rights monthly newsletter.
Evelyn Diaz, President, Heartland Alliance: Evelyn J. Diaz is the President of Heartland Alliance, with headquarters in Chicago, Heartland Alliance operates in the broader Midwest, and has programs in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East. Evelyn leads the organization's executive team, directing domestic and global strategy, and operations. For more than two decades Evelyn has been a leader in the nonprofit and government sectors, starting as a direct practitioner, leading economic development initiatives, and serving as a public official.
She received her graduate degree from the University of Chicago's School of Social Service Administration and her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame

Jake Effoduh is a Partner at Praxis & Gnosis Law, Nigeria. He is an international human rights lawyer with programmatic experience from working across 28 African countries. He has gained ample experience in human rights advocacy at four ranks of human rights systems: at the domestic level (in Nigeria and partly in Canada); sub-regional West African human right system (ECOWAS court); regional African human rights system (African Commission); and mostly at the international level (especially the United Nations Human Rights Council). He is an alumnus of the University of Abuja and holds two master's degrees in International Law from the University of Oxford in the UK, and York University in Canada. For 12 years, he anchored 2 of Nigeria's most popular radio programmes on health and human rights which aired on over 150 stations with more than 35 million Nigerians tuning-in weekly. In 2016, he was listed as a World Economic Forum Global Expert on Human Rights. He has published widely on various human rights issues and has won several awards for his work on human rights.
Dr Njoku has for many years been deeply involved in the National Response to HIV/AIDS epidemic. He was a pioneer member of the National Action Committee of AIDS and Team Leader to the South West Zone in the 2001 National HIV Sentinel Surveillance Survey. He served as, Chairman, HIV/AIDS Committee of the Nigerian Medical Association (Lagos State Branch) from November 2000 to February 2004, and Project Manager, Lagos State NMA/FHI project on Capacity Building for Physicians on management of HIVAIDS and STIs from May 2003 to July 2004. Following the Federal Government intervention in provision antiretroviral drugs in 2001, he was head of FMOH ARV Treatment facility at Military Hospital Lagos. Between Sep 2012 and Dec 2014, he was Director of Science, US DOD Walter Reed Program Nigeria in which in charge of all research activities. Though retired he is still active in the HIV prevention research particularly in the aspect of blood safety.
Mary Adebowale (ACIPM, ANIM, MBA), Chief Operating Officer: A highly skilled Management expert with over 12 years INGO experience in office administration and area of expertise include HR, procurement, logistics, accounting, fleet and facility management. Experienced in Field Office closeouts and openings. Qualifications include a Diploma in Personnel Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management in Nigeria and a MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the Business School, Netherlands

Prof. Morenike Ukpong-Folayan: The board chair for Heartland Alliance International Nigeria, Morenike is an academic at the renowned Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria. This great woman who serves as Deputy Director of the College of Health Sciences' Partnership and Research Advancement Unit also Coordinates the Research and Innovation Support Unit of OAU. She is the coordinator of the New HIV Vaccine and Microbicide Advocacy Society (NHVMAS).
Morenike has extensive experience designing, implementing and reporting both qualitative and quantitative studies for research; conducting monitoring and evaluation exercises for both general and key populations programs; and advocating for use of research outcomes for policy formulation and programming in the field of HIV, bioethics and adolescents health in Nigeria. She has also invested in building community capacity to interpret research findings and use for decision making at micro level.
Navy Captain Akubuiro is a Retired Navy Captain. He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Obafemi Awolowo University, which was known at the time as University of Ife, Ile Ife, Oyo state, Nigeria and a master's of Business (Finance) from the same institution.
He is also a member of the Association of National Accountants.
Navy Captain Akubuiro hails from Abia State, Nigeria, and lives in Abuja.
Winifred Adoh-Gompil (NIMAM, MBA), Financial Controller: A financial expert with over ten years providing financial and administrative support to international projects. Winifred has a MBA from the Anglia Ruskin University and a special MBA from the Metropolitan School of Business and Management and has attended various international trainings on financial management, leadership and USAID grants and cooperative agreements. Winifred oversees the financial team to ensure that adequate financial controls are in place and supports nascent CBO partners to develop strong financial systems.
