The purpose of supervised visitation is to provide a safe environment for a child(ren) to have positive and supportive contact with a non-custodial party in the presence of a neutral third person. A Supervised Monitor is there to keep the child and everyone involved in the visit reasonably safe and protected. The supervised monitor will be present at all times during the visit and will be able to observe all contact and hear all conversations of the child and non-custodial party. The monitor will pay close attention to the child's behavior during the visit and if necessary, the monitor may interrupt or end a visit if the visit becomes unsafe or causes distress to the child.
