The Association for Neighborhood & Housing Development (ANHD) is an umbrella organization representing 80+ community groups across New York City, dedicated to building community power to win affordable housing and thriving, equitable neighborhoods for all New Yorkers. ANHD provides a variety of programs that support our members in their work building housing, equity, and justice in their neighborhoods and city-wide. Broadly speaking, ANHD's core activities include technical assistance and capacity-building support; the coordination of cross-borough coalitions and committees; and the development and publication of research and education materials that help to advance and promote decent, safe, affordable housing for all New Yorkers and equitable economic development. ANHD's support services, coalition building, research, analysis, public education helps to identify patterns of local neighborhood experiences and uplift citywide priorities and needs.
