For more than 25 years, Owner Jeff Jones has built a solid reputation in the Construction and Welding industries. Jeff has owned and operated his own welding business since 1996 along with 20 years at Lexington Scenery & Props where he served in the roles of Metal Shop Manager and Senior Production Manager. Jeff has extensive experience in the Welding industry along with an AA in Metallurgy from the College of the Canyons in Valencia, CA. He has worked with clients such as Universal Studios, the Walt Disney Company, Steiner Brothers, Corporate Contractors, and many more.
Justin brings 15 years of experience in high quality Manufacturing and Fabrication. With 11 years as the Lead Machinist and Production Manager at a large manufacturing company in the San Fernando Valley, he has had the experience of working on many types of projects ranging from Aerospace to Public Art.
Joining J. Jones Specialty Welding and Fabrication in 2018, he has expanded his knowledge into residential and commercial steel construction and became a licensed AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) allowing J. Jones to bring Inspection and Quality Assurance programs in-house.
Over the course of more than 30 years, Kip has been involved in all aspects of the residential, commercial, entertainment, and specialty construction industries, before becoming General Manager of J. Jones Specialty Welding and Fabrication in 2021.
After attending Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland for Construction Management, he went on to become General Manager of Walter E. Lynch and Company in Washington DC and was an integral part of the project management team handling the construction and subsequent renovation of the Jack Kent Cooke Stadium for the Washington Redskins (Now The Commanders) in Landover, MD.
Kip returned to his native California in 2000 and for 20 years was the General Manager for Cinnabar California, Inc. a premier Design Build Fabrication Company producing Entertainment, Exhibit, & Specialty Projects.
