Jim Thomas magical journey begun in 1968. As a youth, he saw the magical illusions of Mark Wilson and Harry Blackstone Jr. He embarked on a magical journey that made him a fantastic children's performer. During the early 1970s Jim was a student to one of the most known and beloved magicians on the east coast, Art Kahn of Jersey City, New Jersey. Kahn was the owner of the famed Zanadu Magic Shop and was inventor and innovator of magical effects still in use today after his passing. During the mid-70s Jim's mentor was none other than Joe Zawislak, who is better known as Dr. Shock, Philadelphia's famed television monster movie host. Jim had begun performing for children throughout the 70s and then enlisted in the United States Navy. After receiving his honorable discharge in the late 80s, he began putting together his grand illusion show which was a success and toured into the mid-90s.
