Khawaja Rice Industries was brought into being by Khawaja Muhammad Farrukh Shahzad in 1992. This was a first for our firm as Mr. Khawaja Shahzad built our firms first rice processing and husking unit in Muridke, of Pakistan's Punjab province. By Allah's grace, this eventually grew into two processing and husking units, with storage capacity expanding to 55,000 square feet. This momentum was a consequence of the efforts of our elders who had been trading agro commodities since the creation of Pakistan in 1947. They began as a commodity mercantile firm in 1963, with our first wholesale outlet in Lahore's infamous Akbari market. Eventually, an outlet was established in Pakistan's key port city of Karachi to take the firms trading to a multi lateral scale. Owing to a wide demand, Khawaja Shahzad Sb founded our company's first manufacturing facility in Muridke, of Pakistan's Punjab, and hence, our firm began exports starting from 1998...
