KIWANIS CLUB OF CONYERS

Kids are curious, lovable and hilarious. They're also wild, impatient and vulnerable. Kids need people to look out for them, so Kiwanis is there in every part of the globe. At Kiwanis, we are generous with our time, creative with our ideas, passionate about making a difference and we have fun along the way. Our signature project goal is to improve the reading skills and literacy levels of elementary school students in our community and foster a love of reading with the hope that it will lead to better students, more articulate adults and better community leaders. We strive to put a book in the hands of every elementary school student in Rockdale County each and every year. In February, March and April of 2019, we began with Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades and handed out books to over 3400 students. In 2020 we will hand out books to over 5200 students in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades... The Kiwanis..
