LIPS-ZIM

LIPS-Zim is a four-year (Jan 2020 -Dec 2023) project, funded by the European Union, that aims to increase agricultural productivity in Zimbabwe's semi-arid agro-ecological regions IV and V by promoting increased adoption of climate relevant innovations in livestock-based production systems and improved surveillance and control of livestock diseases... LIPS-Zim is researching on technologies and models that can help to increase the adoption of business-oriented and climate-smart livestock feeding practices, adaptive breeds, animal management practices (stocking rates) that impact on livestock production. It is also researching on the epidemiology of diseases and efficient control mechanisms.
