MAKRO TEKNIK - Key Persons
Ahmet Toto was born in 1966 in Vadili. After graduating from the electrics department of Sedat Simavi Industrial and Vocational High School, he started working at Makro Teknik Limited as an electrical technician in 1987. He still continues to work here as a senior electrician.
Ali Hürdal was born in 1957 in Kalavason-Limassol. He completed his studies at Sedat Simavi Industrial and Vocational High School, electrics department. Afterwards, he continued his studies at Turkish Electricity Institution Soma Training Centre. Later, he worked as a senior technical staff at the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIBTEK) and after retiring from the institution, he joined Makro Teknik Engineering and Contracting Company in 2003 and is still actively working as a chief technician.
Ayşe Palmer was born in Nicosia in 1962. After graduating from Türk Maarif Koleji in 1980, she worked as a civil servant for a period. She left her role in 1986 to take part in the establishment of Makro Teknik LTD. She still serves for the company as an important partner.
Balin Palmer was born in 1985 in Nicosia, Cyprus. After studying English Language and Literature at Bilkent University for two years, she continued her studies in London at Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance. She completed the last year of her 6-year long life in London with a "Postgraduate in Community Dance" diploma and then returned to Cyprus. She kickstarted her career working at pilates studios. Besides pilates, she attended several trainings in Turkey and Italy in other fields such as breath-coaching and yoga. She has been contributing to the management of Makro Teknik Limited Company since 2019. At the same time, she continues her education in the Department of Psychology at the University of Derby.
Birke Davulcu was born in 1994 in Nicosia and grew up in the same city. After graduating from Eastern Mediterranean University's Electrical Engineering Department in 2016, she continued her studies in the field of Power Systems Engineering at University of Birmingham. She returned to Cyprus after completing her master's degree in December 2017. Since February 2018, she has been a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at Eastern Mediterranean University. At the same time, she works as an electrical engineer at Makro Teknik Engineering and Contracting Company.
He was born in 1989 in Iran. Ebrahim graduated from Iran University's Electrical Engineering department in 2016. Later, he gained work experience in the field of electricity at construction sites. He came to Cyprus in 2018 and started to work as technical staff in various construction sites. He has been working in Makro Teknik Engineering and Contracting Company since 2020.
Ebru Mavioğlu is an accounting professional with 17 years of work experience. Ebru was born in Afyon in 1983. She came to Cyprus to receive a university degree and in 2009 she graduated from the Public Relations and Publicity department of Near East University. She has experience in both managerial positions and accounting in the industry. Since 2017, she has been working as the head of accounting department at Makro Teknik Engineering and Contracting Company.
Eralp Kortaç is a communication consultant with 11 years of experience. Eralp was born in Cyprus in 1987 and after receiving his secondary education here, he completed his undergraduate and graduate education in Belgium and England. Throughout his career, he has worked as a communications manager for brands such as American Apparel, Eastpak, Scotch & Soda, Lee Jeans and Umbro and is currently working as a freelance communications consultant.
İlyas Efendi is an experienced Electrical Engineer. İlyas was born in 1989 in Bulgaria and grew up in Cyprus. He graduated from Near East University's Electrical Engineering department in 2013 and started his professional life after completing his military service. He gained work experience in the fields of electricity and solar energy systems at construction sites. İlyas holds a PV certificate of expertise and has been working as an electrical engineer at Makro Teknik Engineering and Contracting Company since 2018.
Mehmet Topaktaş was born in 1972 in Nicosia. After graduating from the electrics department of Sedat Simavi Industrial and Vocational High School, he started working at Makro Teknik Limited Company as an electrical technician in 1993. He still continues to work hereas a senior electrician.
He was born in Limassol in 1953. After graduating from 19 Mayıs Lisesi, he completed his undergraduate studies in electrical engineering at Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ). After working as an electrical engineer in various government offices in Cyprus until 1990, he retired from the Planning Construction Department (PID). From the date he retired, he became the director of Makro Teknik Engineering and Contracting Limited, which was established in 1986, and he stilll continues to manage the company.
