Art is born from an endless loop. We see. We are inspired. We make. My passion for art comes from a passion for this cycle of artistic inspiration. There is a constant give and take that comes with being an artist and I find it fascinating. Everything that I make has little pieces from the music I listen to, the movies I watch, and the places I visit. I believe this is why my work is very character driven. I get to show some-one process a thing that I processed, or feel things that I have felt. I'm always thinking about who a character is, how they feel, and what kind of world they live in, and then how I can show that visually. That's the kind of art that I am drawn to, so I've found it's also the kind that I want to show to others. The idea that my art could move someone else to create astounds me; I love that my thoughts and ideas can live on in someone else, and change and grow into something entirely new...
