Gary Nimako Marfo Esq. is the founder and Managing Partner of MARFO & ASSOCIATES, a firm of Solicitors and Barristers situated at Adabraka, Accra. A distinguished graduate from the Ghana School of Law and the University of Ghana, Legon, having been awarded the Professional Law Certificate by the General Legal Council, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and a Political Science and Philosophy Honors (B.A Hons).
With a robust practice in Civil Litigation, Corporate Law, Communication Service Contracts, International Immigration Law, Alternative Dispute Resolutions, Negotiations of Commercial Contracts, Labour-related matters, Insurance, Criminal and Procurement Law, Mr. Marfo is a versatile and an accomplished Legal Practitioner.
In addition to his private practice, Gary Nimako Marfo is an active participant in political and legal affairs of the New Patriotic Party. He is the Director of Legal Affairs of the New Patriotic Party. His contributions extend to the Legal and Constitutional Committee, where he holds a membership position and has been a consistent legal service provider to party members across all levels.
Mr. Marfo's involvement in the political arena is further highlighted by his roles in the National Peace Council meetings, his service as a Member of the Dispute Resolution Committee, and his responsibilities as the National Coordinator for Legal Affairs during the 2020 Elections, specifically the Ashanti Region. He played key roles in the National Vetting Committee for Parliamentary Candidates in the Ashanti Region and served on the National Appeals Committee, as well as the National Verification Committee for parliamentary candidates.
Gary Nimako Marfo conducted Court cases arising out of the 2020 Parliamentary Election Petitions in Ghana. His dedication to legal excellence extends to his role as the Board Chairperson of the Gaming Commission of Ghana, showcasing his commitment to serving both the legal profession and the broader community.
MICHAEL OWUSU is a pupil at Marfo & Associates. His areas of interest are property and construction, mergers and acquisition, labour law and litigation.
Michael obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Ghana, Legon and holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from Wisconsin International University, Ghana. He has a qualifying certificate from the Ghana School of Law and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
With his academic foundation, dedication to the legal profession and diverse legal interests, Michael is well-equipped to make significant contribution to the field of law.
NANA BAAFI YEBOAH holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Cape Coast and a Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) from Mountcrest University College. He has a qualifying certificate from the Ghana School of Law and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
Nana Baafi has interned with well reputed legal firms in Ghana and has keen interest in litigation, Company Law, Arbitration and Debt Recovery.
As an Associate of the firm, Nana Baafi is hardworking, diligent, proactive, possesses good communication and research skills, and also works well independently and as part of a team. He aims to further refine his skills and expertise in the legal arena under the mentorship of his seniors at the Firm.
