MAPFRIENDS

Welcome to the mapfriends.com web site. A few years ago when I was travelling a lot, my daughter who was then three, would ask me where I was going when the "taxicar" would pick me up to take me to the airport. I bought a laminated map from a place on the web, mounted it on a foam core board and called it "Anna's Places & Friends". I would then bring back post cards from the places I would travel to and post them on the board. We also would visit friends who had kids and though I only did this once (all the best intentions), the idea was we would post a picture of the friend on the map close to where they lived. This would give Anna a visual connection to the places I visited and to the people she met.
