Wessel has been living and working in Southeast Asia since 1993. His experience working in the international development sector and his professional training in agriculture provide the foundation of his experience and knowledge in the essential nutrition industry. He has numerous qualifications and certifications in international development, leadership, agricultural development, and rural development.
Through Wessels leadership Mekong Valley foods has achieved the HACCP, GMP, and HALAL food manufacturing certifications. Wessel speaks five languages, Dutch, English, German, Lao, and Thai.
