And what a story its' been.. Back in 2013 we opened Mettricks Old Town, the first speciality coffee house in Southampton - in fact one of the first in Hampshire. Now here we are in 2024, and whilst it's been an adventure, we are back making Southampton's tastiest coffees, brunches and cocktails... We've also baked, prepped and served fresh food from scratch using real ingredients from the start. Fresh. Tasty. Local. Three words that have been repeated almost as frequently as Better Coffee. From Shanice's scones and Maz's brownies at Mettricks Old Town, to the first Mettricks ‘bakery' in the Bargate basement all the way to today, where we serve a full brunch through to evening food menu...
