As the founder of New Horizon Training Centers, Alice is an IT industry pioneer whose accomplishments include the development of innovative approaches to training deployment such as university partnerships, virtual training sessions and supplying student to full access to the NH digital training library. Alice's diverse career includes roles as an Associate Professor where Alice architected, developed, managed, and taught several online training programs at multiple collegiate institutions before rising to the role of CEO. Additionally, she has consulted with Fortune 500 companies on helping organizations navigate the changing needs of today's workforce through strategic planning, metrics/analytics, and innovative solutions. Her influence is the driving force in the success of New Horizon and its graduates.
Brian has over 10 years of experience in the IT training and development field. He brings a unique blend of technical training program development and management experience, as well as over five years of experience managing the training department of a major technical university. In his former role as a senior manager, he specialized in designing and facilitating custom developer training programs aimed at improving the performance while keeping student up to date on the most current development languages and techniques. His passion for the IT field and ability to assimilate information have helped to craft our signature training programs and aid in the success of our students.

As executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), Kumar is responsible for all New Horizon's financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, and investor relations. He also oversees and manages all human resources and facilities activities. His career spans more than 30 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy. Earlier in his career, Kumar held senior-level positions in both investment and commercial banking companies and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.

Mel is the smiling face all our virtual students know. She worked as a developer for over 15 years before joining the New Horizon team in May 2018. Once joining New Horizon Training Centers, Mel worked side by side with our founder, Alice Cooperson, to build NH's accelerated virtual training department, offering the New Horizon experience to more than just those in the Kansas City Metro area. Her extensive knowledge and positive attitude make her an invaluable part of our training team and a favorite instructor for many students the world round.
Rachel joined the New Horizon team in April 2021 as Financial Assistant. She handles the financial matters of the business such as client billing, accounts payable, payroll and banking. Rachel is known for her hard-working mindset, her passionate for helping find solutions to any challenges, and her ability to approach all aspects of any job with a positive attitude. She brings with her an extensive background in customer service from both retail and corporate environments. She is excited to bring these experiences and enthusiasm to the team at New Horizon and to our clients.

Sharon joined our team in June 2019 as Executive Assistant and has a varied background in project management with multiple educational facilities in the Midwest, with a little marketing experience thrown in for good measure as well. She finds the technical training industry quite interesting and is looking forward to helping bring out the best in our clients. Sharon primarily handles Executive and Training scheduling, session set-up details, the administrative duties related to the Registered IT Training program, and various other administrative tasks. She is the friendly voice that will most likely greet you when you call the New Horizon offices, and always a positive member of the NH ream.
