Mr. Abdul Karim joined the Board of MIDAS Investment Limited on November 07, 2023. He is a retired Secretary to the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and served the Government in different capacities. He also worked in the Ministries of Communications, Defense and Finance. He held the posts of Member (Finance) and Chairman of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA), Director of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation, Managing Director of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation and Managing Director of Bangladesh Shilpa Bank. After serving the Government for more than 31 years he joined Micro Industries Development Assistance and Services (MIDAS) in December, 1992 and discharged the responsibilities of Managing Director, MIDAS till December 11, 2011. He had also served as Managing Director of MIDAS Financing Limited from May 1995 to April 2004.
Mr. Karim is a B.A. (Hons) and M.A. in Economics from the University of Dhaka and has training in Advanced Accounting, Management Accounting, Public Administration, and Small Enterprise Promotion at both home and abroad. He travelled to the U.S.A., Canada, the U.K., the Federal Republic of Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, the People's Republic of China, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, as well as India to conduct studies and attend training courses, seminars, workshops and conferences.
Mr. Karim taught Economics and Statistics at Dhaka University in his early years. He is now also on the Board of Directors of Village Education Resource Centre (VERC), Savar, Dhaka and of South Asia Partnership (SAP), Dhaka, Bangladesh, as honorary Treasurer.

Mr. Bazlur Rahman Khan is an Enterprise Development Specialist and Management Consultant with board experience in financing, training, teaching, consulting, monitoring and evaluating the profitable and non-profitable sectors. He taught in a number of universities and institutes. Previously, he was in senior management positions of MIDAS, MIDAS Financing Ltd, Glaxo Smithkline Bangladesh, Bata Shoe, Bangladesh Shilpa Bank and British American Tobacco . Mr. Khan is the Managing Director and CEO of Fuchs Lubricants Bangladesh Ltd, a member of Fuchs Group, Germany. He is the Chairman of Pacific Trade Technology Ltd., Executive Director of Agro Industrial Trust and Chairman of SS GATE Workshop (Global Asset and Technology Exchange Program of UNDP) in Dhaka. Mr. Rahman obtained his M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Thermal power from Lahore, Pakistan and B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Pakistan University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. He is also an MBA from IBA, Dhaka University.

Gazi Mohammed Tareq joined MIDAS Investments Limited as the Chief Executive Officer in 2022. Before joining MIDAS, Mr. Tareq served as the CEO of Elegant Stock & Securities Limited, Prior to join Elegant he was work as Head of Operation with LANKABANGLA SECURITIES LTD the largest brokerage house in Bangladesh. He was In- Charge, Merchant Banking Operation, Chittagong Branch at IDLC. He was starting his carrier earlier in 1996 with QSI Securities Ltd. Than he joined with LankaBangla Securities Ltd (former Vanik Bangladesh Securities Ltd.) in 2001. He has more than 26 years of experience in the local capital market. He brings with him profound experience from various fields of Bangladesh Capital market.
A Business Graduate from Southern University. He has completed various training program like, professional training in sales by TACK Training International, Katmandu, Nepal in 2008, Certificate course in Equity Capital Market in 2012, organized by U& I, Dhaka University, Introduction and application of Derivatives by Pearl Institute in 2014 and AML/CFT, Focusing capital market intermediaries by Bangladesh Bank in 2014. He Participated in AML/CFT Risk Management Master Class, conducted by International Technical Assistance and Training AUSTRAC. He is also attended International conference on Market Risk Management summit, 2017 in Mumbai, India and Training on Business Innovation Idea organized by AOTS, 2017 in OSAKA, JAPAN.
MIDAS Investment Limited (MIL), a fully owned subsidiary of MIDAS Financing Limited, is a full-fledged Merchant Banker & Portfolio Manager. MIDAS Investment Limited was incorporated with Register of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSCF) on April 09, 2012 as a Private Limited Company under Companies Act, 1994.

Ms. Nazneen Sultana was the first female Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank. As a Deputy Governor, she performed her responsibilities in the Human Resources Department, Information Systems Development Department, IT Operation and Communication Department, Credit Information Bureau, Foreign Exchange Investment Department, Foreign Exchange Operation Department and Foreign Exchange Policy Department. Prior to this, she was an Executive Director of the central bank. She was also the Project Manager for Bangladesh Bank of Standard Hardware and Software Package and ERP Package financed by the World Bank. She has a vast experience of over 30 years in managing critical supervisory issues at the Bangladesh Bank, where she was a key leader in developing the automation system. She joined the Board of Directors of MIDAS Financing Limited in 2020. Ms. Sultana obtained her Honours and Master�s degrees in Physics from the University of Dhaka.
