Capt. Magnus Cardfelt

Capt. Magnus Cardfelt has over 20 years of experience in the maritime industry. He started his seagoing career as cadet and climbed up the ranks, sailing on Oil tankers, Chemical tankers and offshore vessels, mainly in Broström Tankers and Stolt Nielsen tankers. He worked a few years as Loading Master and terminal operator in the port of Gothenburg, before he joined Marinvest as Operations Manager in 2008. Magnus has been deeply involved in all Methanol Dual Fuel new building projects and managing their operations since delivered. Magnus holds a Master Mariner degree from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Eleni Petridou

Eleni has over 15 Years of experience in Accounting - 3 years as an accounts assistant in Orbit Direct Cyprus, thereafter 7 years as accountant in Kotani Ship Management Ltd, part of Kotani Group (a ship-owning company), followed by 3 years as Chief Accountant at Kotani Shipping Co. Eleni continued as a senior accountant at Andreas Neocleous & Co LLC, Cyprus's largest law firm, for 3 years until joining MSEA in 2015.

Modi Mano - Founder

Our founder, Modi Mano, is a 3rd generation shipping entrepreneur. Prior to founding MSEA Capital in 2012 he served in executive & board positions with some of the worlds leading shipping and finance groups. Modi developed his career in top tier global shipping institutions spanning across London, Singapore, Rotterdam. In 2007 Modi co-founded (Partner, BOD and CIFO) Navig8 Group, a leader in tanker trading, operations and management. Prior to that, Modi worked in private equity shipping investments and ship finance. In his early career Modi worked for Seagull Maritime Ltd in ship operations and chartering. Modi holds a Master degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance and a BA in Business Administration.

Nienke Blans - CFO

Nienke has been working in the shipping and energy finance industry for over 20 years. She has a vast international network, having worked for ABN AMRO Bank in London, Singapore and Amsterdam. Before arriving to MSEA, Nienke was active as CFRO for a Dutch maritime fund manager, Nesec Fund Management, based in Rotterdam, with main focus on European short sea shipping. Nienke holds a master degree in Maritime Engineering from the Technical University of Delft.
