MTSKHETA-MTIANETI

Mtskheta-Mtianeti is a region located in the northern part of Eastern Georgia. The lowest point above sea level is Mtskheta 480 m. While the glorious Mkinvartsveri (Mount Kazbek) is located at 5054 meters. The total area is 5,800 sq.m., which is 8.3% of the territory of Georgia. According to the 2014 census, 108,800 people live here, that is 2.6% of the Georgian population. The population density is 18.6 people per sq.m..
