NEW HOPE - Key Persons
Ashely began teaching at NHCS in 2011. She holds a B.A. degree in Child Development and a Teacher Licensure from Maryville College. She and her husband, Jason, attend Free Spirit Missionary Baptist Church in Maynardville. Ashely teaches 5-8 th grade Bible Studies, Science, Math and Literature
Diane joined the New Hope Family in 1998. She began teaching the 3 rd/4 th grade class in 2000. God has blessed her with a strong desire for teaching and a great love for children. She and her husband, Harold, have one son and attend Loveland Baptist Church.
Emily began teaching at NHCS in February 2001 after receiving her B.A. in Education from Carson Newman College. She and her husband, Wesley, have five children and attend Stony Point Baptist Church. Emily teaches 5 th thru 8 th grade English, Spelling and Math.
Jami attended Pellissippi State and became a part of the New Hope family in 2011. Jami became lead teacher of K4/K5 in 2021. She and her husband, Wesley, have two sons. They attend Community Baptist Church.
1ST & 2ND -AMANDA MAPLES
Amanda holds a B.A. from UT Knoxville in Elementary Education. She earned her M.A. in Child Development from UT Knoxville in 2011. She joined the New Hope Family in 2017. She and her husband, Charles, have two children and attend Bethel Baptist Church.
TEACHING ASSISTANT -JENNELL VALLANCE
Jennell became a part of New Hope in 2021. She is Teaching Assistant and Office Assistant. She earned a B.S. in Nursing from Pensacola Christian College. She and her husband Eric attend Temple Baptist Church Fountain City and have 3 daughters.

Kim is a graduate of Tennessee Tech Nashville and began teaching music at New Hope in 2004. She joined the office staff in 2009 and serves as Office Manager and Financial Officer. She and her husband, David, have two children and attend New Hope Baptist Church.

Rebecca joined NHCS in 2021. Rebecca earned a BA from the University of Central Florida. She teaches 5 th-8 th grade Heritage Studies and Reading. Rebecca and her husband Brandon attend Calvary Knoxville Church and have 2 daughters and 1 granddaughter.
Yvette holds a B.A. in Applied Science. Yvette is our Physical Education Teacher. She and her husband, Ronnie, have two children and attend Dante Church of God.
